Sherri Millick

As a family member and a consumer, Sherri knows first-hand the importance of collaborating with community groups, professional organizations and mental health care providers towards the common goal of providing effective and compassionate mental health care.Sherri participates in numerous projects throughout Alameda County through the Family Education and Resource Center as a presenter sharing the family perspective for: Crisis Intervention Training for law enforcement and first responders, the Public Education Campaign for Future Mental Health Providers, Provider Education Training and is an active member of the Family Leadership Program.

Prior to 2011, Sherri spent many years working as a manager for a local municipality. In this role, Sherri was responsible for dispute mediation, budget oversight, personnel administration and employee relations for a city department. Sherri graduated with a B.S degree in Business Administration, and has completed postgraduate work in the areas of Public Administration and Special Education. She currently lives in Fremont with her two teenage children and five rescued pit bulls.
